REFUND & RETURN POLICY — Desert Paint Store
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return policy carefully as it varies by product type.
Custom-Tinted Paint & Primers — Final Sale All custom-tinted paints and primers are mixed specifically to your color order and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please verify your color selection carefully before placing your order. If you have questions about a color, call us at (915) 249-6570 before ordering.
Ready-Mix Colored Paints & Primers Unopened, factory-sealed ready-mix colored paints and primers may be returned within 14 days of receipt. To be eligible, items must be in their original, unopened condition with all original labels intact. You'll need your receipt or proof of purchase.
Paint Tools & Sundries Paint tools and sundries may be returned within 14 days of receipt provided they are in original packaging with all original stickers and labels intact. Items that have been opened, used, or are missing original packaging will not be accepted.
Defective Tools & Sundries Defective tools and sundries are handled through an inspection-based process. Please contact us at paintdesk@ddincep.com to initiate a defective item claim. We will evaluate the item and determine eligibility for a replacement or refund after inspection.
Damages & Incorrect Items Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can make it right.
Non-Returnable Items The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Custom-tinted paints and primers
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or aerosol products that have been opened
- Sale items and gift cards
How to Start a Return Contact us at paintdesk@ddincep.com to request a return authorization. Do not send items back without prior authorization — unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Approved returns should be sent to:

Refunds Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at paintdesk@ddincep.com.
European Union If merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, provided items are in original unopened condition with proof of purchase.
