Collection: Coat Your Garage Floor

Transform your garage floor with PPG SUPERCOAT™ Epoxy Floor Coating — a professional-grade, durable finish that resists oil, chemicals, and heavy foot traffic. Follow these steps for a long-lasting, great-looking result.

  • Step 1 — Clean & Degrease: Thoroughly clean the floor with a concrete degreaser to remove oil, grease, and dirt. Any contamination left behind will prevent the epoxy from bonding properly.
  • Step 2 — Etch or Grind: Open up the concrete pores by acid etching or mechanical grinding. This is critical for epoxy adhesion. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
  • Step 3 — Patch: Fill cracks or divots with a concrete patching compound. Allow to cure fully before coating.
  • Step 4 — Apply PPG SUPERCOAT™: Mix and apply the epoxy coating per instructions. While the first coat is still wet, broadcast Rust-Oleum Decorative Color Chips across the surface for a professional, speckled finish. Allow to cure fully.
  • Step 5 — Second Coat & Safety: Apply a second coat of SUPERCOAT™ to lock in the chips and maximize durability. For added safety, mix in Homax Tread Tex Anti-Skid Additive into the final coat to create a slip-resistant surface — especially important in wet or high-traffic areas.
